Our company was founded in 1874 in Ginza, Tokyo. Japan’s first Western musical instrument store.

We sell harps, other musical instruments, and operate music schools.

We are the exclusive Japanese distributor for harp manufacturers Salvi Harps (Italy) and Lyon & Healy Harps (USA). We also provide sales of our original small harp, Chris Harp.

We also deal in other Japanese-made “Aoyama Harp” and “Sanso Liar”.

We would like to introduce our tax-free sales for foreign tourists.

Customers who meet the conditions below can shop at our stores at tax-free prices.

Please present your passport when using the duty-free service.

Foreign nationals *Not applicable to those who reside in Japan for more than 6 months or those who work at a domestic office.

Japanese nationals (must show proof of continuous residence outside of Japan for at least 2 years)

Tax-exempt items

Musical instruments (small harps with 25 strings or less and lyres), sheet music, cases, covers, stools, music stands,

Brooches and other accessories, CDs, etc.

Other consumables (strings, stationery, cleaning supplies, etc.)

Terms and Conditions of Use

Total daily sales (excluding tax) must be 5,000 yen or more. (The maximum amount for consumable goods is 500,000 yen.)

*Consumable goods may be combined with sheet music, etc.

**Musical Instruments cannot be combined with consumable items.

Items purchased duty-free are purchased for export. Please ensure that they are taken out of the country.

Please present your passport, etc. to customs at the airport or seaport when leaving the country. If you are not in possession of duty-free items at the time of departure, customs will collect consumption tax.

Please do not open the sealed bag of consumable goods until you leave Japan. Consumption tax will be collected if consumed.

Items purchased in Japan may be subject to import duties in your home country.

Some items may not be in stock in the store on the day of your visit.
